 Alfa Laval Clariot VX is a compact wireless vibration sensor for continuous condition monitoring of pumps and other rotating equipment in hygienic process environments. It captures 3-axis vibration and surface temperature and pairs with the Clariot Connect gateway to forward data to cloud analytics for early fault detection.

The Clariot VX is rated IP69 for washdown suitability, mounts with dedicated adapter kits for common Alfa Laval pump and gearbox models, and uses two replaceable Tadiran SL761/S 2/3 AA cells. Euroflow supplies the Alfa Laval Clariot VX and can advise on selecting gateway placement and adapter kits to ensure reliable BLE coverage in processing facilities.

  • Direct mount option: OptiLobe 12/13 with M6 direct thread (no adapter required)
  • M8 Universal adapter option for older DuraCirc and Twin Screw installations
  • Wall-mount Clariot Connect gateway package includes a 10 m power cable (M12) for fixed installation
  • Optional LTE external antenna and M12 fall-back port for wired fallback connectivity on the gateway

Yes. The Clariot VX is protection classified IP69 and is washdown-suitable, enabling it to remain installed during high-pressure cleaning and many CIP routines typical in hygienic plants.

The Clariot VX uses Bluetooth Low Energy to pair with the Clariot Connect gateway; the gateway forwards data over 4G LTE to the monitoring cloud. Initial pairing and commissioning are completed via the Alfa Laval Clariot app on iOS or Android, and the app includes a Wink function to visually identify specific sensors.

The sensor uses two Tadiran SL761/S 2/3 AA batteries with a rated life of about 2 years under standard monitoring; operational guidance notes replacement is typically expected approximately every third year. Battery replacement is an on-site procedure: twist the lid open, replace the two cells, reposition the lid and twist until it clicks.
