Hygienic fittings to DIN EN 10357-A cover metric stainless steel tubing and fittings for food, dairy, beverage, personal care, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical process lines. The standard sits alongside DIN 11850 and defines the metric dimensional series for tubes, bends, tees, reducers, and clamp unions in wetted hygienic service. Euroflow supplies the Alfa Laval range, drawing on extensive experience in hygienic process equipment.
Wetted parts are supplied in 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel. Euroflow provides the Alfa Laval selection of 1.4404 over 1.4435 due to its balance of corrosion resistance, weldability, and cost-effectiveness in customer processes. Internal surface finish is Ra < 0.8 µm as standard. Finishes are verified with a calibrated profilometer. Every fitting passes 100% visual inspection. Ovality and squareness are checked with calibrated equipment. Surface roughness meets the requirements of EHEDG and 3-A, and exceeds the requirements of DIN 11852.
