The Alfa Laval SolidC is built to streamline basic transport duties without compromising on hygiene. By utilizing a semi-open impeller with a specialized vane design and balance holes, the pump enhances circulation around the shaft seal. This design choice is critical for reducing axial forces, which directly minimizes wear on both the shaft seal and motor bearings, extending the service life of the equipment. All media-contacting components, including the pump casing and impeller, are constructed from AISI 316L (W. 1.4404) stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance and product purity.
