The Alfa Laval LKH Prime UltraPure is engineered specifically to meet the stringent regulations of the life science industries. Its construction utilizes W. 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel for all media-contacting components, ensuring superior corrosion resistance and durability. The unit features a semi-open impeller with a specialized vane design that optimizes fluid dynamics, while tight tolerances between the moving parts ensure maximum hydraulic efficiency. Reliable CIP Return Pump Performance

The LKH Prime UltraPure excels as a CIP return pump, featuring verified cleanability that simplifies your sterilization cycles. Its self-priming capabilities allow it to handle entrained air effectively, ensuring consistent flow even during the transition from product transfer to cleaning. To support rapid maintenance, the pump is designed with a front-loading shaft seal. This allows the spring and washers to be mounted on the atmospheric side, making seal replacement fast and inexpensive without requiring complex disassembly.

As an Alfa Laval Master Distributor for tank manufacturers, plant engineers, system suppliers, and end customers, we provide expert support in selecting and designing systems for viscous product handling and cleaning applications.

The LKH Prime UltraPure is specifically designed for high efficiency and quiet operation during CIP return. Its ability to handle entrained air and its verified cleanability ensure that cleaning cycles are effective, reducing the risk of contamination and minimizing downtime between batches.

Each pump is supplied with the Alfa Laval Q-doc package, which is in line with GDP. This includes full material traceability 3.1 according to EN 10204, USP Class VI elastomer certifications, and can include hydrostatic testing or surface finish certificates upon request.

The front-loading shaft seal is designed so that the spring and washers are mounted on the atmospheric side. This allows for fast, easy, and inexpensive replacement of the seal without the need for extensive tools, helping to maximize equipment uptime in busy production environments.
